About Us

[H] Mankrik is a hardcore guild recruiting for Cataclysm raiding. Our goal is simple: clear content as quickly as possible and have fun doing it. In order to make this happen, we maintain a roster that is competitive and large enough to facilitate split raids. Raiders are expected to be able to play their class and spec to their fullest potential, be open to constructive feedback, and maintain a cooperative attitude towards their fellow raiders.

Outside of progression raiding, we’ve created a fun atmosphere and community wherein we all play other games, watch movies, and even occasionally meet up IRL from time to time! These relationships allow us to work together and be the best team possible so that we can achieve our goals.

Cataclysm:

World 87th, Server 2nd Firelands

Raid Times:

Tuesday/Wednesday | 8:00pm to 11:00pm EST (Server Time)

We also add flex days during progression. 10-man raids are organized throughout the week by raiders.

Loot System:

We use ThatsMyBis to distribute loot. Every raider will submit a thorough loot list prior to the release of new content, and we work together to determine where every piece will go. We can happily say that, in over 3 years of raiding together, we have never struggled with loot drama.

We are not exclusively recruiting hardcore players for progression raiding! All skilled players are encouraged to reach out and join our community.

Trial periods tend to last 2 weeks, but we can extend this if we feel more time is needed.

Raider Expectations:

• Min/max and maintain your raid-ready characters (gems, enchants, and professions)
• Maintain at least one raid-ready alt. It is preferred that this alt be the same role as your main for consistency (bonus points if it's a clone!)
• BiS raiding professions (engineering is required on all raiding characters).
• Have dual spec and be able to play an alternative spec if needed.
• Be able to communicate clearly (this includes having a working microphone!)
• Understand that competitive raiding sometimes requires people to be benched. This may be you! Dont' take it personally.
• Have a "team first" mentality. Our goal is to win as a guild; ALL players contribue to our succcess, regardless of whether you're present for a kill.
• Have an understanding of how to review logs and learn from them to improve your performance.
